While surgery is not performed at The Eye Care Center, Dr. Phillips and Csonka work with top surgeons in the Philadelphia area to provide pre and post operative care for procedures such as LASIK and Cataract Surgery.

Refractive Surgery
Interested in LASIK surgery? A LASIK consultation at The Eye Care Center will help determine if you are a good candidate for LASIK or another refractive surgery procedure through measurements gathered at this visit. You will also be educated on what to expect the day of surgery and beyond, as well as the benefits and risks involved. Advancements in refractive surgery have made the procedures safer and more effective than ever, yielding outstanding visual outcomes for patients with a wide array of refractive error.

Cataract Surgery
Cataracts are one of the most prevalent causes of preventable blindness in the world. However, with advances in the surgical techniques and intraocular lens (IOL's) implants used during the surgery patients experience a level of health and vision far beyond what was experienced in years past. With new multifocal IOL's some patients are even able to eliminate the need for glasses or contact lenses after the procedure. The doctors at The Eye Care Center perform pre and post operative exams for cataract surgery, as well as consultations to determine if cataract surgery is needed.
